Trainee Handbook

Discipline That Builds a Professional Ready for the Mining Environment

The trainee regulations at the Saudi Mining Polytechnic reflect the nature of the work environment the graduate will join in mines and plants, where adherence to schedules and safety rules is an essential, non-negotiable requirement. Therefore, the regulations are designed to instill professional habits in the trainee from day one.

The regulations cover four areas: organizing the training program and its semesters, attendance policy, the graduated warning system linked to absence hours, and training rules within classrooms, labs, and workshops, including uniform and personal protective equipment.
