A program that equips you with the skills to discover and evaluate new mineral deposits through geology, geophysics, geochemistry, and GIS.

The program covers key aspects of geology, geophysics, and geochemistry, applying Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and GPS in field exploration work. Trainees learn methods for sampling and analyzing rock and soil, reading geological maps, and evaluating preliminary mineral indicators, with the curriculum emphasizing sustainable practices and preparing trainees for critical roles in the Kingdom's fast-growing mining and exploration sectors.

Graduation Requirements

  • Complete all course units: pass all written and performance assessments for every unit in the program (60% minimum passing grade).
