Intensive training to develop skilled technicians capable of maintaining and repairing electrical systems in industrial environments using modern diagnostic tools.

The curriculum spans one year of institute training complemented by three months of on-the-job training, covering preventive maintenance procedures and the use of modern diagnostic tools to keep electrical equipment and systems in mines and plants running at peak efficiency, with a focus on electrical safety, reading schematics, and circuit testing.

What will you learn?

An extended track covering industrial electrical systems, control systems, electrical drives, protection systems, transformers, and industrial motors, with six months of on-the-job training in mines and plants so trainees gain experience diagnosing complex faults and planning preventive and predictive maintenance.

Graduation Requirements

  • Complete all course units: pass all written and performance assessments for every unit in the program (60% minimum passing grade).

  • Complete on-the-job training: successfully finish the required training period while demonstrating practical application of skills in a professional environment.
